Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrive in Denpasar, Bali
Begin your Indonesian adventure with a warm welcome and overnight stay in a premium beachfront hotel. Time at leisure.

Day 2 | Fly to Sorong & Embark the Greg Mortimer
Fly to West Papua and step aboard your boutique expedition vessel. Settle into your stateroom before joining your fellow travellers for the Captain’s Welcome Dinner as we set sail for Cenderawasih Bay.
Day 3 | Amsterdam Island
A hidden gem in the Su Islands, Amsterdam Island offers a rare opportunity for genuine cultural exchange. Meet local villagers, learn about their traditions, and explore the lush island landscape during this unforgettable shore visit.
Day 4 | Auri Islands & Roon Island – Cenderawasih Bay
Dive or snorkel vibrant coral reefs teeming with tropical fish and turtles. Paddle through crystal waters and explore jungle-fringed islands. Highlights include the WWII Japanese Zero wreck dive, dugong sightings, and spectacular coral ecosystems in Numamuran Strait.
Day 5 | Kwatisore – Whale Shark Encounter
Venture into the heart of Cenderawasih Bay Marine Park for a magical encounter with gentle giant whale sharks. Snorkel respectfully alongside these incredible creatures, guided by marine conservation protocols. Later, immerse yourself in Papuan culture with a warm welcome in Kwatisore village.
Day 6 | Pulau Num & Palau Swande
Enjoy a day of marine and avian discovery. Explore tranquil mangrove lagoons by kayak, snorkel vibrant reefs, and observe exotic wildlife including manta rays, Napoleon wrasse, and birds-of-paradise. Birdwatchers may also spot cassowaries, eclectus parrots, and elusive marsupials like the cuscus.
Day 7 | At Sea – En Route to Raja Ampat
Relax and reflect as we cross to the Raja Ampat archipelago. Attend engaging lectures, enjoy wellness treatments, or simply soak in the tropical views.
Days 8–9 | Raja Ampat – Wayag & Waigeo
Enter a surreal world of limestone karst islands and biodiverse coral reefs in Raja Ampat, often described as the crown jewel of marine biodiversity.
